All three major indices were back in positive territory Thursday after a brief dip into negative territory.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.26%, or 65 points, to 24,959, while the Nasdaq gained 0.64%, or 46 points, to 7,190, and the S&P 500 rose 0.33%, or 9 points, to 2,707.
