The major averages were humming again on Friday.

The major indices closed the week on a high note Friday, marking the second straight session of gains.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average led the charge, climbing 0.89%, or 228.46 points, to 25,803. The Nasdaq was the next biggest gainer, rising 0.68%, or 49 points, while the S&P 500 climbed 0.67%, or 19 points in the session.
