The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq are scheduled to close as usual at 4 p.m. Eastern on Friday, Dec. 22. Financial markets are closed Monday, Dec. 25.

Most markets for products on the CME Group global exchanges close early Friday, and CME Group markets are closed Christmas Day.

Holiday hours for bonds and other securities markets vary, but the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) lists suggested holidays and trading days with early closures.

In the U.K. and Europe, most financial markets are closed on Monday, Dec. 25 and Tuesday, Dec. 26.

Trading schedules are similar the following week, and for New Year's, major financial markets around the world are closed Monday, Jan. 1.
