FANG stocks didn't quite take a bite out of the late-afternoon stock market rally Tuesday, Nov. 28.

As the three benchmark indexes soared to new highs following progress on tax reform and the Senate testimony of Fed Chair nominee Jerome Powell, FANG stocks met the closing bell with mixed results.

The tech sector underperformed the broader market Tuesday -- here's how some of the industry's darlings fared.

Facebook Inc. (FB) stock dipped 0.33% to $182.42. Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) shares fell 0.19%, to $1,193.60, and Apple Inc. (AAPL) shares decreased 0.59%, to $173.07.

Netflix Inc. (NFLX) stock was the clear winner in the group, climbing 2.12%, to $199.18.

Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL) stock slipped 0.81%, to $1,063.29.
