Tim Hortons, owned by Restaurant Brands International Inc. (QSR) , is celebrating a new lineup of espresso drinks in an unusual way -- it has introduced the Buffalo latte.
For customers in Buffalo, New York, Tim Hortons will sell a drink made with freshly brewed espresso, steamed milk, mocha and Buffalo sauce flavor. It's topped with whipped topping and a "dusting of zesty Buffalo seasoning," Tim Hortons said.
"The unlikely pairing of sweet mocha and tangy Buffalo sauce come together to create an unexpectedly delicious sweet and spicy treat we hope our guests will enjoy," said Stephen Goldstein, Tim Hortons regional president.
It's not the first time Tim Hortons has served up an unexpected Buffalo combination for the Empire State. In 2014, Tim Hortons offered Buffalo Crunch Doughnuts at the New York State Fair.
The Buffalo latte launches just after Tim Hortons' brand new espresso menu. The updated drink lineup includes lattes, Americanos and cappuccinos available hot or iced. There are also new flavors including caramel, vanilla, mocha and everyone's fall favorite, pumpkin spice.
The unusual Buffalo latte will start at $2.79. Would you try it?
