Microsoft (MSFT) on Wednesday launched pre-orders of its new game console the Xbox One X, available at local retailers around the globe and via the tech titan's online store.

Pricing of the console, which boasts 1TB of storage, will begin at $499 in the U.S., and start shipping on November 7.

The Xbox One X has the capabilities to run up to 4k resolution and 60 frames per second. It will give developers the ability to improve new and existing games through enhancing texture, lighting, load times, and update a wide range of visual improvements.
