After Apple (AAPL) debuted its highly anticipated iPhone 8 and iPhone X smartphones, Keybanc analyst John Vihn is out with a note detailing the semiconductors poised to benefit from the phones' releases.

Among the companies he is bullish on following the unveiling are Broadcom (AVGO) , Cypress Semiconductors (CY) , Integrated Device Technology Incorporated (IDTI) , Skyworks (SWKS) , and Qorvo (QRVO) . He reiterated his "Overweight" on all but Qorvo, on which he placed a "Sector Weight" rating, according to a note obtained by Barron's.

As for Broadcom, Vihn is bullish on the increased number of the company's chips utilized in the phones, as he contends the higher number of GPUs will be used in the devices' 3D touch and wireless charging features.

Cypress is set to benefit from the new fast-charging feature the phones' come equipped with, he added. Integrated Devices will take advantage of wireless charging, as Vihn sees Chinese phone makers also adopting the feature and noting that the company already has secured contracts to supply the technology to them.

As it pertains to Skyworks, Vihn sees double-digit content gains for the semiconductor firm, powered by improvements to the diversity receiver module, while Qorvo should see single-digit content increases in the new devices.
