Carly Fiorina Will Not Run For Senate

NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TheStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: TST), a leading financial news and information provider, today aired an exclusive interview with former presidential nominee and Hewlett-Packard CEO, Carly Fiorina, in which she stated that she will not be pursuing a run for the Senate. Chief Correspondent and seasoned anchor, Tracy Byrnes, interviewed the former Fortune 500 chief executive.

In her exclusive interview, Fiorina told Byrnes "I made a decision that I can actually make a bigger impact, not running for the Senate, but, lifting up leaders wherever they are." Fiorina plans to launch a foundation, called Unlocking Potential, that will help teach leadership skills to nonprofit and social enterprise companies.

Although Fiorina will not be a contender for the approaching Senate election, she said "I don't rule out a run for political office in the future."

Fiorina was recently featured in TheStreet's new Alpha Rising series, which profiles innovative women who are redefining American business.
