E-Sports Firm Unikrn to Sell $100 Million in Cryptocurrency in September
Cryptocurrency allows the company to bypass banks while raising money.

Unikrn, a U.S. sports betting digital platform, is going to sell $100 million in cryptocurrency in order to help fund some of the projects the company has in the pipeline.

The company said that it embraced cryptocurrency as a way to bypass dealing with banks.

"The problem when you're dealing with banks is that none of these guys are easy to work with. You're dealing with 20 different currencies, you're dealing across borders. There's no other reason to go this route other than to circumvent banking," CEO Rahul Sood told Reuters.
