Consumer Reports Pulls Recommendation for Microsoft Laptops
The surface laptop was one of the devices to lose their recommendation.

Consumer advocacy group Consumer Reports announced that it is pulling its recommendation for four Microsoft Corp. (MSFT)  laptops after customers lodged several complaints about the brand in one of its surveys.

The group said that it could no longer recommend the laptops due to their poor reliability compared to competing brands, according to CNBC.

Consumer Reports acknowledged that Microsoft laptops perform well in laboratory testing, but users reported reliability issues.

The devices affected by the new recommendations include the Surface Laptop (128GB and 256GB versions) and Surface Book (128GB and 512GB versions).
