Eclat Textile, Taiwan's leading apparel maker which counts Nike Inc. (NKE) and Under Armour Inc. (UAA) among its clientele, has hinted at a partnership with Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) in order to drive growth, the Nikkei Review reported Tuesday.
"We will start to ship to a new e-commerce customer at the end of August. For this year, the e-commerce customer will account for roughly 0.5% of our revenue only ... but the trend is definitely going up in the next few years," said Eclat Chairman Hung Chen-hai, according to the Review.
Hung did not name Amazon specifically, but analysts the Review talked to say that he is referring to the U.S. company.
