It's Going to Be a Good Winter for Natural Gas Companies, Morgan Stanley Says
Nat gas could be big money once again.

Natural gas will be a hot commodity this winter, and analysts at Morgan Stanley expect demand to be strong enough to inflate depressed prices, according to a note Tuesday.

"Natural gas forwards have now fallen to levels in-line with (or below) our bearish sub-$3 forecast, driving a more constructive risk-reward into winter 2018," Devin McDermott, lead U.S. gas and power commodity strategist at Morgan Stanley, said in his note.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. (COG) shares were up 2.3% to $23.45 while fellow natural gas driller Gulfport Energy Corp (GPOR) was also up 0.8% to $12.72 Tuesday afternoon.
