Overstock Introduces Car Shopping Site With Anonymous Haggling Feature
Overstock is headed into car sales.

Online retailer Overstock.com (OSTK) is launching a new car shopping website that will offer users an anonymous haggling feature as well as finance and warranty services, CEO Patrick Byrne told Fox Business Network.

Overstock hopes to compete with similar services from Cars.com (CARS) and Autotrader by listing about 4 million vehicles for sale on the site.

"You can find the car you want at the dealer, and for thousands of dealers, we built an anonymous negotiation tool. So you can negotiate with that guy on the car lot without him ever knowing your name and address," Byrne said.
