At a mere 13.9 times forward earnings, the market could also be overlooking a future where Apple is a major player in cars. 

As TheStreet's tech columnist Eric Jhonsa points out, the mere fact CEO Tim Cook talked about autonomous cars recently is a hint Apple wants to get big into the space.
