Disney's (DIS) latest Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, has hit $800 million at the worldwide box office after less than a month in theaters. The misfit superhero sequel starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana was released in the U.S. on May 5.

The film has surpassed the total domestic, international, and worldwide grosses of the original 2014 movie, Variety noted. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the fifth Disney-Marvel movie to top $800 million. The others were The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, and Iron Man 3.

Disney stock was down slightly in mid-day trading on Wednesday afternoon.
