Twitter's (TWTR) VP of global content partnerships Ross Hoffman is leaving the social media firm, Recode reports.
Hoffman had been in charge of running the company's media team for the past year.
He had been with Twitter for nearly seven years in various media and branding positions, and assumed the role of media head last June.
Hoffman's group was hit hard by Twitter's layoffs in the fall and has transformed over the years from a true media partnerships group into a hybrid team focused on media and sales deals, Recode said.
Shares of Twitter were higher during afternoon trading on Friday.
