CBS (CBS) plans to add eight new shows to its prime-time lineup next year, including a prequel to its hit show 'The Big Bang Theory' ahead of the media company's presentation to advertisers.
While CBS was the most watched network this season for the ninth year in a row, the network saw an 8% decline in viewership for its primetime lineup, the Wall Street Journal reported. Additionally, viewership among the 18-49 age group that advertisers covet the most was down 16%, trailing both NBC (CMCSA) and ABC (DIS) .
