Microsoft May Purchase Cloud Monitoring Startup Cloudyn for $50 to $70 Million

Microsoft  (MSFT) is considering purchasing cloud monitoring startup Cloudyn for between $50 million and $70 million, according to Calcalist

Cloudyn was started in Tel Aviv in 2011 and has raised about $20.5 million to date. Neither Microsoft or Cloudyn responded to a request for comment from Techcrunch

Microsoft's Azure cloud business is the second biggest player in the cloud sector behind Amazon.com's  (AMZN) Amazon Web Services.
