Oracle (ORCL) signed a deal with Charter Communications (CHTR) to target ads to the cable provider's 16.5 million subscribers. The deal is Oracle Data Cloud's first deal in the targeted television ad sector.
Charter advertisers will be able to use Oracle's addressable advertising platform which target's ads based on household purchase data.
"This allows us to connect Charter's information to the data that we have to make a much better, appropriate plan around who to target, what [TV ] programs to connect to," company executive Joe Kyriakoza told AdWeek.
