Levi's Is About to Unveil These First-Ever 'Bare Butt' Jeans
Jeans get taken to a new low.

Talk about taking product innovation to the next level.

French fashion brand Vetements recently posted several photos on Instagram of its upcoming spring collaboration with jeans maker Levi's. Judging by the photos, the Vetements X Levi's collection will have jeans with zippers down the backs of the legs, as well as smack in the middle of the back-center seam. If zipped down, the jeans leaves the wearer with a fully exposed butt.

Let the rear-facing selfies begin.

To be sure, Vetements and Levi's are unveiling these wacky jeans at a good time. The denim space has seen a revival of late amid introductions of offerings with stretch technology, which target fans of comfy athleisure bottoms.

"Last year was a positive one for jeans," wrote NPD in a report in March, "another critical category for apparel, which finally rebounded in 2016 to align with the industry's 3% growth rate, reaching $15.3 billion in sales."
