It's not just the president's Boeing (BA) 747 plane that the government is looking to replace -- it's the limousine, too.

General Motors' (GM) Cadillac is revamping President Donald Trump's limousine, per a report from Motor Authority. Trump is currently using President Obama's 2009 vehicle.

Cadillac has been working on the new presidential limo over the past four years and it's reportedly able to defend against explosions and chemical attacks, according to Motor Authority.

The vehicle is expected to be powered by a diesel engine, as is the case with the current presidential limo.

President Trump isn't the only world leader who is set to receive a new car. Russia's President Vladimir Putin is reportedly upgrading his presidential limousine. A host of Russia car makers are building this one, as Motor Authority reports.
