Suncor Stock Closes Higher on Goldman Sachs Upgrade

Shares of Suncor Energy (SU) finished the day in the green on Wednesday, following a rating upgrade to "conviction buy" from "buy" at Goldman Sachs.

The firm based its call on the company's growth from new projects, strong dividend and buybacks growth, and valuation.

Goldman has a price target of $38 on the integrated energy company, which is focused on developing Canada's petroleum resource basin.
