Mobileye (MBLY) founder Amnon Shashua is looking to take his tech startup OrCam public, after just recently inking a deal with Intel (INTC - Get Report) to sell Mobileye to the tech giant for $15 billon.
OrCam uses a camera mounted on frames for glasses to help those with vision issues navigate their surroundings.
Shashua is looking to go public by the end of the year, according to Reuters. Last month OrCam completed a $41 million investment funding round that values the company at $600 million.
"Sales targets for 2017 are four times more than 2016. By the end of 2018 the revenue, the profit, of the company will be at such a level, together with the ability to forecast, that it's good enough for an IPO," Shashua told Reuters.
