Dry Bulk Shippers Upgraded at Morgan Stanley, Stocks Surge

Morgan Stanley today upgraded several dry bulk shippers whose shares were up in the premarket and continue to move higher in early morning trading:

Safe Bulkers (SB) to "Overweight" from "Equal Weight", Star Bulk Carriers   (SBLK) to "Overweight" from "Underweight", and Golden Ocean Group (GOGL) to "Overweight" from "Underweight".

Morgan Stanley expects rates to improve in 2017 and 2018 although risk will continue to run high.
