InfoSpace (INSP) was up 14.8% in preopen Island trading after posting a first-quarter loss of 2 cents a share, beating analysts' estimates of a 4-cents loss and up from a 4-cent loss a year ago. The Web and wireless services provider said revenue rose 20% to $46.6 million and added that despite the economic slowdown, it still expects to post a break-even third quarter and a loss of 5 cents a share for 2001.
