Brown-Forman (BF.A - Get Report) lowered the high end of its full year earnings guidance by a nickel Tuesday to between $1.71 and $1.76 per share on sales growth between 3% and 4% vs. its original estimate of 5% sales growth. 

The company reported third quarter earnings of 47 cents per share on revenue of $808 million vs analysts' expectations of 48 cents per share on revenue of $739.9 million.
