Talk about Mercedes-Benz pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

The German car-maker and Cigarette Racing teamed up to create the Marauder AMG, a speedboat inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT R. Unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show on Thursday, the black and green Marauder has quite the insane spec sheet.

The Marauder AMG is powered by a pair of Mercury Racing engines and M8 stern drives, delivering up to 3,100 horsepower. These powerplants are dual calibration engines, which enable the operator to switch engine power levels through an electronic key fob. The Race Key fob unlocks up to 1,550 horsepower, requiring race fuel. The Pleasure key fob is used for operating at 1,350 horsepower with 91 octane fuel. Either way you cut it, one heck of a fast ride for the ocean.

No word on whether Ford (F) and Tesla (TSLA) have one of these super speed boats in development.
