The Deal Economy Event Is Live

The Deal, the sister publication of TheStreet focused on M&A, is hosting its annual Deal Economy Event Thursday, Dec. 1, featuring a some of the most notable dealmakers, activists and regulators in the industry.

A live webcast of the event is available here.

The 2017 event, held at the Essex House in Midtown Manhattan, is set to feature a who's who of corporate dealmakers, investment bankers, lawyers, activist investors and regulators.

Jim Cramer, founder of The Deal's parent company TheStreet Inc. and co-portfolio manager of Action Alerts PLUS, is set to deliver a keynote speech, as well, covering a look ahead to 2017 and a wrap up of his observations from 2016.

At the 2015 Deal Economy Event, Cramer, also the host of CNBC-TV's "Mad Money," noted that he expects to see fewer deals in 2016, in part because of indications that the stock of acquirers will no longer rise on deal announcements.

A live stream will be open to the public for free.
