Analysts' Actions -- Alcoa, Cerner, Deere, Quintiles and More

RATINGS CHANGES

Alcoa (AA) was initiated with a sell rating at Deutsche Bank. $26 price target. The valuation is less attractive, as the stock is up 31% in the past month, Deutsche said. 

Cerner (CERN) was downgraded to market perform from outperform at Leerink Partners. $50 price target. Earnings estimates were also lowered, as the company is facing several macro headwinds, Leerink said. 

Deere (DE) was upgraded to buy from neutral at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. $124 price target. The valuation is more attractive, as 2017 guidance appears conservative, analysts said. 

International Paper (IP) was upgraded to buy at TheStreet Ratings. You can view the full analysis from the report here: IP.

Quintiles (Q) was downgraded to market perform from outperform at William Blair. Earnings estimates were also reduced, as the legacy business is a drag on earnings, Blair said. 

Semtech (SMTC) was upgraded to outperform at Oppenheimer. $36 price target. Earnings estimates were also increased, given the company's new guidance, Oppenheimer said.
