APEC CBET Chile During the workshop, the industry experts explained the roles of marketing, payments, customer service, trust and safety, logistics, internet finance, and all other components of the industry ecosystem in cross-border e-commerce. The APEC CBET Chile workshop not only included speakers from DHgate.com, Tencent, and UnionPay, but also local leaders such as the Executive Director of the Chile Pacific Foundation Loreto Leyton, the Director of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce George Lever, the Chief of Staff for the Trade Minister of Chile Nicolas Shubert. Tencent Vice President of Tencent Qidian Wang Xiangyu discussed social commerce, which is the use of social channels to facilitate commerce and transactions, and the way it is changing the way international and domestic business communications alike are realized.
