The WISE Awards, to be announced during the next WISE Doha Summit in November 2017, recognize outstanding initiatives that are using creative and effective ways to solve education challenges. Representatives of projects are invited to submit applications demonstrating the nature and reach of their activities. Past winning projects have addressed a wide range of concerns and pursuits, including access to quality education, life-long learning opportunities, and education in emergency contexts. Every year, recipients of the WISE Awards join a network of other successful and pioneering projects, gaining global visibility and opportunities to collaborate through various platforms, including the Summit, WISE communications and publications. Projects are celebrated at the Summit and at other WISE events. They also receive $20,000 (US).
