LA GRANGE, Ill., Nov. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tis the season for giving, receiving--and supporting your local community! Small businesses in the Village of La Grange are partnering with the La Grange Business Association (LGBA) to host an entire season of events celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hometown Holiday, the La Grange holiday walk. This annual season long campaign encourages residents and visitors to shop local in November and December to celebrate the season with holiday-themed activities that bring the community together. " La Grange residents have always been incredibly supportive of the local community. With an optimistic holiday shopping season on the horizon, we're excited to make the events surrounding the 25th anniversary of Hometown Holiday the most successful in La Grange history," said Village of La Grange president Tom Livingston. "Shopping local is more fulfilling than going to a big box store because we get to know our store owners and their team members as the friends and neighbors they are. Also, the money spent at local small businesses stays in La Grange, enriching our community and economy."
