HONOLULU, Nov. 17, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Joel Rappoport, a partner with the law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, Washington DC, will be joining First Hawaiian Bank's Senior Management Committee and has been named executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of the Bank and its holding company, First Hawaiian, Inc., (NASDAQ:FHB) according to an announcement today by First Hawaiian Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison. Previously, he was a partner with the Washington DC law firms of Muldoon, Murphy & Aguggia, LLP, Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP and Housley Kantarian & Bronstein P.C. He is a member of the Board of Advisors of the University of North Carolina Banking Institute. Rappoport has a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and a Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law.
