CALGARY, Nov. 15, 2016 /CNW/ - Compact Compression Inc. has released the newest addition to its line of Hydraulic Casing Gas Solution Gas compressors. Joining the already popular CHC 615 compressor is the high-volume CHC 1050 compressor. With nearly triple the capacity of the original CHC 615, the CHC 1050 compressor includes several improvements developed over the last year. The most significant improvement is enhanced cold weather temperature control to maintain optimum hydraulic oil temperatures, over the wide seasonal temperature swings found in the WCSB. Accomplished using automatic dampers and a warm up valve, the temperature control system allows the unit to heat and run without the presence of an operator. The CHC 1050's simple, robust, and low cost design also eliminates the most common failure points of a Hydraulic Casing Gas compressor: pneumatic control valves and liquid separation and handling equipment. Chris Blundell, President of Company Compression Inc., explains, "Customers enthusiastically accepted the original CHC 615 compressor designed, for single well service and identified several other applications from Pigging to Treater Gas Compression that benefit from the attributes of the CHC 615. Customers then asked for a larger compressor with enough capacity to capture gas from multi-well pads and ESP wells. This provided the motivation to develop the CHC 1050, which significantly improves the economics for larger flows." The CHC 1050 has all the features that have made the CHC 615 popular including the ability to process unlimited amounts of liquids. The unit is simple and quick to install or move which minimises production losses and associated cost due to service or installation. Further, in the unlikely event of a shutdown, the unit's satellite call out system will instantly notify Compact Compression Service to expedite a response.
