Ads focus on remembering what really matters to moms this ChristmasOTTAWA, Nov. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - Giant Tiger Stores Limited is excited to announce the debut of their new Christmas commercials, which continue exploring the "Inner Voice" theme, a continuation from their popular spring campaign. The commercials feature moms all in busy holiday moments, each facing a Christmas challenge, as expressed through their inner voice. "Christmas is a high pressure time for moms," explains Karen Sterling, Vice President of Marketing, Giant Tiger Stores Limited. "At Giant Tiger, we recognize that moms are time-starved and facing a great deal of pressure and responsibility to make Christmas 'perfect.' Our commercials feature moments that have mom faced with different Christmas dilemmas. The solution or outcome is aided by her sense of whimsy, her good sense of humour and a realization that the true focus of Christmas should be on fun and family." Each commercial ends with a carousel of gift-giving ideas and will change during the season to reflect an up-to-date store assortment of products that are currently available at that time frame. "Giant Tiger is known as a go-to destination for on-trend and on-budget Christmas gifts," adds Sterling. "The carousel of items reflects real time what our stores are carrying and is another way for us to highlight some of the thousands of low price gift-giving solutions that we offer every day." The campaign, developed in partnership with Yield Branding, features two television commercials that will air on national specialty TV channels in English and French as well as a commercial specifically designed for digital and social channels. A complimentary programming sponsorship will be deployed on W Network and Canal Vie.
