Jim Cramer -- Children's Place Excels

Shares of Children's Place (PLCE) are up 5% Monday, after analysts at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch upgraded the stock to buy from underperform

The analysts also moved their price target to $92 from $68, TheStreet's Jim Cramer, co-manager of the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio, pointed out on CNBC's "Mad Dash" segment.

This company's management has been terrific, Cramer said. They have never really done a bad job, which is impressive in a retail sector plagued by mistakes, Cramer observed. Children's Place is about to accelerate, he predicted.

Children's Place has been a winner in the mall too, Cramer said. That is impressive given that many mall-based retailers have been struggling.

Products at the kids' retailer have good style and the company has a strong design team, Cramer noted, something that was highlighted by the analyst as well.

At the time of publication, Cramer's Action Alerts PLUS had no position in companies mentioned.
