SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Synaptics Incorporated (NASDAQ: SYNA), the leading developer of human interface solutions, today announced Sharp is featuring Synaptics ® Natural ID ultra-slim area-touch fingerprint sensors for secure biometric user authentication on their new AQUOS smartphones. Selected as part of NTT DoCoMo Inc's new lineup for the Japanese market, the Sharp AQUOS Ever SH-02J and AQUOS Disney Mobile DM-01J smartphones feature Synaptics' slim fingerprint sensor on the side-edge of the devices, convenient to the fingers natural resting place.
