Ms. Regina Ibrahim has been appointed the Director of the Oregon/ Washington State Chapter for MRSA Survivors Network. Ms. Ibrahim's daughter, Nadja was 21 years old when she was infected in a local hospital with MRSA during brain surgery and she will share her daughter's story along with her struggle on her ongoing medical journey to help her daughter. The public is encouraged to attend along with survivors of infections, their families and those from the medical community. Ms. Teresa Raiford Mazique, an advocate with 'Portland Don't Shoot/Black Lives Matters' will talk about the treatment of minorities in the healthcare system and patient rights.
