REDMOND, Wash. and SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-area based social media software company Tagboard Inc. named former Klout platform evangelist and Lithium's VP and GM of Consumer Data Tyler Singletary as its new VP of Platform, placing him in charge of expanding the company's data platform strategy and product offerings.
"Making sense of social data, especially across platforms, is a thrilling challenge. Tyler built Klout's API platform from scratch, and his track record as a mastermind of social data products couldn't be better suited to our plans," said Tagboard CEO Josh Decker. "This is a critical and incredibly exciting time for Tagboard as we evolve as a company. To have Tyler believe in our vision and join our growing team is a huge honor, and we are primed to utilize his expertise." Tyler was most recently the VP & GM of Klout and Consumer Data for Lithium. He was responsible for the operation, health, and direction of Klout's website, integrations, and data assets, which included Klout.com, the Klout API, and partnerships with Twitter among others. Prior to joining Lithium, Tyler led Data Strategy & Developer Relations at Klout. "The data products we have planned will shake up the industry," said Tagboard Chief Strategy Officer Jenni Hogan, who Tyler will directly work with. "We're building next-generation social aggregation tools, and we'll soon offer customers unique data cocktails built specifically for their business needs. Tyler will play an integral role in making this magic happen." Tyler brings to Tagboard more than 18 years of experience across technology, from law firms to startups. He is a board member of the Big Boulder Initiative, a social data trading consortium and association — the first of its kind — as well as a recognized writer and speaker on data and API ethics and strategy.
