Reservation System Gives College Football Fans Chance at Affordable Playoff Tickets

For college football fans, attending a playoff game is an experience like no other. For their bank account, however, it could be an experience that carries some serious repercussions. Inflated ticket prices on resale outlets often price fans out of big games, forcing them to watch from their couch instead of cheering from stadium seats.

However, there is a way to lock down primary tickets even after your team clinches its playoff spot. Enter TeamTix.com, a company dedicated to giving fans access to college football playoff tickets without the hassle of purchasing seats on a resale market. For a fixed price that depends on each college team's chances of entering a select game, TeamTix reserves tickets at face value for fans. Should their team carve their way into that select game, fans will have access to tickets at primary list price.

The college football playoffs consists of the top four teams as ranked by a panel of experts at the end of the conference playoff season. The Peach and Rose bowls in respectively, Atlanta and Los Angeles, will serve as the semifinal games. The championship game will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla.

TeamTix is currently offering reservations for all college football playoff tickets. The first 2016-2017 college football playoff rankings had Alabama, Clemson, Michigan and Texas A&M as the top teams. Single reservations currently start from $105 for Alabama, $85 each for Clemson and $70 for Michigan.

As for the semifinals, the Peach Bowl will be the more expensive of the two games to reserve tickets for on TeamTix.

With tickets already sold out on the primary market, TeamTix is the only way for fans to get their hands on inventory to the game at the Georgia Dome. A $50 reservation fee will give fans access to Alabama games should the Crimson Tide make it, while Clemson and Michigan have $35 and $15 reservation fees, respectively.

For those interested in attending the Fiesta Bowl at Phoenix Stadium, reserving a ticket will be affordable. Of the 25 teams that have seen the most reservations for Fiesta Bowl tickets thus far, each has a reservation fee of just $15. They include Alabama, Michigan, Florida State and Boise State.

Per TeamTix policy, all reservations are non-refundable. Fans will not receive their reservation fee back should their team fail to reach the selected game. Still, with the resale market fluctuating each week, TeamTix offers fans the best shot at scoring primary tickets and at an affordable price.
