SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) 11 th Annual Pacific Union Leukemia Cup Regatta, which took place on October 22-23, 2016 at The San Francisco Yacht Club (SFYC) in Belvedere, Calif., has raised over $675,000. All of the funds raised from the event will go towards LLS's mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. Since 2006, the Bay Area Leukemia Cup Regatta has raised over $7 million for LLS and this year's event won the honor of being the top fundraising Leukemia Cup Regatta in the nation for the tenth consecutive year.
