Crystal's "Moroccan Rainbow Carrot Sandwich with Spicy Orange Dressing" was named the most delicious and nutritious sandwich of the 15 total finalists that made the cut as voted on by America and a panel of qualified judges.
The 2016 America's Better Sandwich™ Contest offered the opportunity for foodies across the country to submit their original sandwich recipes featuring Brownberry® Bread varieties in five different categories. After three finalists in each category were named, America voted and our experts weighed in based on three criteria: taste, creativity and nutritional analysis. The highest scoring recipes in each category were crowned "category winners," and will receive a $5,000 prize. Additionally, for every eligible recipe submitted during the entry period and for every vote cast during the voting period, Brownberry® donated more than 6,500 loaves of bread to Feeding America, the official charitable partner for the contest.
