Mr. William Brayjoins Ankura as Managing Director after a distinguished career in the United States Navy with more than 20 years of experience in geopolitical analysis and worldwide terrorism analysis. While on active duty, Captain Bray commanded the Navy's largest Intelligence Center, leading more than 1,000 civilian and military personnel, and was responsible for global maritime and transnational threat analysis to Chief of Naval Operations, Secretary of the Navy, and National Security Council staff. Throughout his career, he provided geopolitical analysis and wrote extensively on Iran, Russia, China, North Korea and more than 40 African and Middle Eastern countries. Highlights of his broad experience include authorship of daily terrorism updates for the Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and his selection and performance as a military fellow to the Director of National Intelligence. Most recently he managed day-to-day operations of a senior staff that creates, implements, and oversees all Naval Intelligence policies and programs worldwide.
