Uncertainty. It's been the word of the week. No, the word of the year. Okay, at least the word of the election, and amid a day with lackluster catalysts (see any $50 billion deal announcements today?) it was the word that kept U.S. markets and investors skittish. It's uncertainty over the election and OPEC, and a host of other issues like drug pricing, that caused the S&P 500 to fall for the sixth consecutive session.

So, while investors watched the ever-tightening presidential race and the commodities markets (oil fell again today as folks questioned whether OPEC would actually agree to a production cap at month's end) TheStreet and its various properties were hard at work digging up ideas to help investors make money even during such turmoil.
