(NASDAQ:MPB), is seeking regulatory approval to open a branch at 685 West Main Street in New Holland. The bank today submitted an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The branch is located in the New Holland Shopping Center and is currently occupied by another bank. Mid Penn also recently announced plans to open a branch at 1817 Oregon Pike in Lancaster, with a slated opening date in early December of 2016.
