ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Brian Wynne, president and CEO of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), will moderate a panel on Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) at the UTM Convention 2016 in Syracuse, New York, on Nov. 9. Wynne will moderate a panel on the future of industry innovation and how it can enable UTM. Leaders from across the UAS industry will share their insights as they work toward a UTM system. The panel members will be Jon Resnick, policy lead at DJI; Paul McDuffee, vice president of government relations at Insitu and a member of the AUVSI board of directors; Mark Halverson, CEO of Precision Autonomy; Robert Stamm, senior principal systems engineer at Raytheon; and Kraettli Epperson, CEO of Vigilant Aerospace. The panel will take place at the Oncenter, Room 4/5/6, in Syracuse on Nov. 9 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EST. UTM Convention 2016, which will be held from Nov. 8 to 10 in Syracuse and Rome, New York, will bring together experts from industry, government, and the international community to discuss UTM and the future of aviation. The convention will feature other panels on UTM, including the UAS test sites, collaborative efforts between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and NASA, cybersecurity, and international approaches to UTM.
