In addition to financial support, Affinion Group will be establishing an ongoing employee volunteer program as part of the partnership, including a year-round calendar of events and activities to benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. As the first step in this new partnership Affinion Group has committed to be a Gold Sponsor for Bridgeport Rescue Mission's Great ThanksGiving Project, annually held at Webster Arena in Bridgeport providing over 3,000 turkeys, fixings bags and 15,000 winter coats to area families in need. Affinion Group has made a $70,000 commitment to the Great ThanksGiving Project, including a donation of thousands of gift card codes to local families in need, redeemable at local area stores in Bridgeport and Stratford.
