DEARBORN, Mich., Nov. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Vista Maria and Holy Cross Services are combining over 200 years of dedication and commitment to vulnerable children and families by entering into a multi-year partnership.
As Holy Cross Services and Vista Maria currently provide different yet complementary services, effective December 1, 2016, a new collaborative effort for certain programs and services will be in effect. Vista Maria will provide foster care and independent living services to Holy Cross clients in metro Detroit while Holy Cross will provide detoxification and substance abuse treatment services to Vista Maria's residential and community-based clients which also include adolescent and adult victims of human trafficking. Through the partnership, Vista Maria, one of Michigan's oldest and longest serving child welfare agencies in Michigan, will grow to become one of the largest providers of Foster Care services within Wayne County. In addition, the collaboration will enable Vista Maria to add to its continuum of care day treatment substance abuse services and will have access to best in care, medically monitored detoxification services through Holy Cross.
