Cheap Tickets Still Widely Available to Watch Yankees' Final Playoff Push

The situation is bleak in the Bronx.

As the regular season approaches its final week, the New York Yankees remain behind five teams in the chase for one of the two wildcard, playoff spots in the American League. This weekend, New York is visiting the Toronto Blue Jays, which holds the top wildcard spot.

Following their trip up north, the Yankees return home to host the first-place Red Sox followed by the playoff-contending Orioles. The two three-game sets will be the Yankees' final regular season games.

Fans can watch the Yankees try to sneak into the playoffs for relatively cheap during the final home stand. On Ticketmaster, Yankees tickets during their final home stand remain widely available and inexpensive.

Outfield bleacher seating across the three-game series with the Red Sox starts from just $17. Tickets in the 400 level of the stadium are running as low as $21.  For those with interest in seeing the action up close, Field MVP tickets behind home plate start at $250.

Boston pummeled New York last weekend and boasts strong pitching and hitting, and it offers a sentimental story. The team's long-time slugger and Yankee torturer, David Ortiz, will be retiring at the end of the season.

Will playoff hopes still permeate through the stadium by the time the Orioles arrive next weekend?

The Orioles sit just a half-game back from the Tigers for the second wild-card spot entering this weekend series with the Diamondbacks. Tickets for games between the Yankees and Orioles start from just $17 in the outfield bleachers and $21 in the upper deck overlooking the outfield.
