"Heather is a proven leader who has demonstrated the ability to achieve strong clinical quality performance and significant service line expansion and growth," said Jon Foster, president of HCA's American Group. "Her vision and leadership skills combined with her clinical background and knowledge of the market make her an excellent choice for this important role."

Rohan began her career with HCA 30 years ago as an associate nursing administrator. Inspired to lead, she went on to assume roles of increasing and diverse responsibility, such as chief nursing officer, chief operating officer and then CEO. She was appointed to her current role as CEO of TriStar Centennial Medical Center in 2012, where she oversees 657 beds on multiple campuses in Middle Tennessee. Under her leadership, TriStar Centennial has been recognized for superior patient care, earning the Top Hospital Designation and Safety Score (A) from the Leapfrog Group. She also has overseen significant service line expansion and growth, opening The Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial, expanding cardiovascular and orthopedic service lines, and establishing Tennessee's first freestanding emergency room.

Active in the Nashville community, Rohan serves on the boards of Second Harvest Food Bank, United Way of Middle Tennessee, American Heart Association and the HCA Foundation. Rohan also serves on the board of Barry University.

Rohan earned her bachelor's degree in nursing and master's in business administration from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and in 2015 was elected to the Board of Governors. Rohan and her husband Joe have two sons.

A search for Rohan's replacement at TriStar Centennial Medical Center is underway.

Corbeil also served as CEO of HCA's Medical City Dallas Hospital from 1996 to 1999.

"Steve has been an outstanding leader for HCA for many years, and it has been an honor to have the opportunity to work closely with him," said Foster. "He has led the TriStar Division to unprecedented growth over the past five years and has laid a solid foundation for future success."

Throughout his career, Corbeil has been involved in a variety of community service boards and committees including: the Missouri Hospital Association Board of Directors, United Way, American Heart Association, Boy Scouts and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also serves on the boards of the Governor's Foundation for Health, Tennessee Hospital Association and Federation of American Hospitals, as well as the American Hospital Regional Policy Board. In 2011, Corbeil received the 2011 Outstanding Alumni Award from the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa for his long term commitment to the Iowa Health Management and Policy Department.

Corbeil earned his bachelor's degree in economics/political science from the University of Michigan and his master's in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE). Corbeil and his wife Mary Kay have three sons.
